Tethers! An integral part of race car and race event saftey.

They connect to the wings and the wheels in INDY NXT and INDYCAR, making sure they don’t fly off the car when a car gets into an incident.

Toe is like camber but instead of tilting the tire

Toe is like camber but instead of tilting the tires we’re turning them.

Cars are generally WAY more reactive to toe than camber, that’s why we can barely see a toe change visually.

You have to be careful with how much toe you add though as too much will create added drag which will slow the car down and wear the tire more!

Seats are pretty integral when it comes to driver

Seats are pretty integral when it comes to driver comfort. Seats have to be perfectly form fitting to take as much G load off of the driver as possible (so we don’t have to brace for it)

The process is super interesting, with a mix of chemicals and foam beads to form the seat, and a vacuum for it to keep its shape.

After cutting and everything is done, we often times add pads or memory foam to the seat to make it more comfortable and give less possibility for bruising!
